STAGES OF THE EYEBROW LAMINATION PROCEDURE
1. Assessing the condition of eyebrow hairs and determining the duration of product effectiveness
Before the procedure, assess the structure of the client’s eyebrow hairs and determine the processing time for the laminating products based on the following criteria:
Group 1: coarse, thick, and dense eyebrow hairs that have not previously been chemically treated (dyed or bleached).
- Serum 1: application time 5–8 minutes.
- Serum 2: Leave on for at least 6–8 minutes.
Group 2: natural, healthy, moderately thick eyebrow hairs or hairs that have previously been chemically treated.
- Serum 1: application time 3–5 minutes.
- Serum 2: application time 6–8 minutes.
The application time for Multivitor is 5 minutes for all hair types.
IMPORTANT! The maximum application time for Serum 1 and Serum 2 is 15 minutes.
IMPORTANT! The effectiveness of Serum 1 and Serum 2 depends directly on the room temperature. The higher the temperature, the faster the chemical reaction proceeds.
2. Preparing the Eyebrows for the Laminating Procedure
Cleanse your eyebrows and skin with ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE 2.0. Remove the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.
3. Eyebrow Shaping (Serum 1)
IMPORTANT! If the client has thin or sensitive skin, apply ÉLAN professional line cream with argan oil before the procedure—a thin layer on the eyebrow hairs and a thicker layer on the skin around the eyebrows.
1. Apply Serum 1 to the eyebrow hairs. Leave on for 3–8 minutes.
IMPORTANT! Do not exceed the recommended treatment time for the selected hair group.
2. After the treatment time has elapsed, remove any remaining product with a cotton pad moistened with water.
IMPORTANT! When shaping your eyebrows, take into account the natural direction of hair growth. Any change in the direction of hair growth should be gradual and gentle to avoid kinks and distortion.
4. Setting the Direction of Eyebrow Hairs (Serum 2)
IMPORTANT! If the client has sensitive skin, use a protective cream as described above.
1. Apply Serum 2 evenly along the entire length of the eyebrow hairs. Comb the hairs in the desired direction. Processing time: 6–8 minutes.
IMPORTANT! The application time for Serum 2 must be the same as that for Serum 1, but it must not be less than 6 minutes.
2. If you plan to dye your eyebrows after laminating, remove the product with a cotton pad moistened with water.
3. If you do not plan to dye your eyebrows, remove any remaining Serum 2 with ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE 2.0, then wipe away the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.
5. Eyebrow Care (Multivitor)
1. Apply Multivitor to your eyebrow hairs and spread it evenly. Leave on for 5 minutes.
2. If you do not plan to dye your eyebrows, rinse the product off with water.
3. If you plan to dye your eyebrows, remove the Multivitor with ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE 2.0, then rinse with water.
4. Immediately after completing this step, apply the eyebrow color mixture.
IMPORTANT! After laminating, the eyebrow dye takes effect faster, and the resulting shade is deeper and more intense.
5. To set the color, apply ÉLAN COLOUR FIX 2.0 after dyeing your eyebrows.
IMPORTANT! Eyebrow shaping (plucking) should only be done after the laminating procedure. It is recommended to use tweezers to reduce the risk of skin irritation.
STAGES OF THE EYELASH LIFTING PROCEDURE
1. Assessing the condition of the eyelashes and determining the duration of the treatment
Before the procedure, assess the structure of the client's eyelashes and determine the processing time for the products based on the following criteria:
Group 1: coarse or straight eyelashes.
- Serum 1: application time 6–10 minutes.
- Serum 2: Leave on for at least 6 minutes.
Group 2: medium-thick or fine eyelashes.
- Serum 1: application time 3–6 minutes.
- Serum 2: Leave on for at least 6 minutes.
The application time for Multivitor is 5 minutes for all types of eyelashes.
IMPORTANT! The maximum application time for Serum 1 and Serum 2 is 15 minutes.
IMPORTANT! The higher the room temperature, the faster the chemical reaction of the products occurs.
2. Preparing the Eyelashes for the Lifting Procedure
- Cleanse your eyelashes with ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE, then rinse off the foam.
- Attach a silicone pad of the appropriate size to the eyelid.
- Arrange and secure the eyelashes on the silicone pad using ÉLAN KiwiFix Eyelash Lifting Fixing Balm.
3. Creating Curl in the Eyelashes (Serum 1)
1. Apply Serum 1 to the area where you want to create the curl. Processing time: 3–10 minutes.
IMPORTANT! Do not exceed the recommended exposure time for that specific group of eyelashes.
2. After the treatment time has elapsed, remove any remaining product with a dry brush, following the direction of eyelash growth.
4. Fixing the Curl of the Eyelashes (Serum 2)
1. Apply Serum 2 in a thick layer to the eyelashes. Leave on for 6–10 minutes.
IMPORTANT! The application time for Serum 2 must be the same as or longer than that for Serum 1, but it must not be less than 6 minutes.
2. After the treatment time has elapsed, remove any remaining product with a dry brush, following the direction of eyelash growth.
5. Eyelash Care (Multivitor)
1. Apply Multivitor to your eyelashes. Leave on for 5 minutes.
2. After the treatment time has elapsed, remove any remaining product and fixing balm with a cotton pad moistened with water.
IMPORTANT! To achieve a more dramatic and visually striking result, it is recommended to have your eyelashes tinted after the eyelash lift procedure.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR EYEBROW AND EYELASH CARE AFTER THE PROCEDURE
- Do not dye your eyebrows with henna or bleach them, as these procedures can damage the hair structure.
The first 24 hours after the procedure:
- Avoid going to the sauna, steam room, and tanning salon.
- Don't sleep with your face pressed against the pillow to avoid damaging your eyebrows and eyelashes.
- Avoid getting water on your eyebrows and eyelashes.
- Do not comb your eyebrows or eyelashes.
The first 48 hours after the procedure:
- Avoid using harsh cosmetics and undergoing intensive cosmetic procedures.
- Do not use facial scrubs, exfoliants, or alcohol-based skin care products.
- Do not undergo laser procedures.
